(An Inter-disciplinary Approach to Life)
The Coronavirus, a dire intruder, turned out to be a camouflaged invader to mankind. It may have allowed the world to move forward digitally, but on a contrary note, it has shattered the homosapiens physicallyand mentally. As a result of the pandemic, the world is undergoing a transformative shift and it is necessary to develop a new-fangled blueprint. Our forthcoming International Conference orients itself to the post-pandemic scenario and its understanding in the new world order. To set the right aptitude and attitude as academicians in the field of research is what we intend to achieve by organising it. The conference with its different technical sessions relating to post-pandemic reflections is ready to touch the right chord and create a learning platform for the existing and upcoming researchers in the academia.
Human history is replete with events that have changed the course of our dialogues and debates. Our negotiations have evolved with each event that has impacted our thought processes and perceptions, opening up new ways to match up newer challenges. As we take into account our past, we realize that wars divide but ironically disasters like Pandemics unite the world through a common thread of suffering, humanity and empathy. As aptly said, “As with butterfly, adversity is necessary to build character in people”. COVID -19 is one such unprecedented event, in near history that has affected lives on a global scale. It has changed and pulled us (individuals and nations) back from the unreasonable haste with which we were advancing, accumulating negativity, unempathetic attitudes, ingratitude, carelessness in all that we do .The disaster has brought to light the discrepancies in current perspectives and the greater need to reconstruct our means and ends in human transactions
The conference is inspired from the varying responses towards the understanding and handling of this critical situation and its impact on an individual and his environment made up of socio-cultural, political, commercial, digital and economic contexts that will eventually frame our future as well. The Pandemic of COVID 19 has impacted every field and every activity and has challenged our conditioned thinking patterns and is emerging as a new area of research in the changing society. Thus, through the conference, we aim to conflagrate ideas and ideologies that will build our discourse around the topic and open up newer avenues for further research.
